This first generation 1966 Ford Mustang convertible had a very extensive and detailed restoration. Powered by the 289 Cu In V8 and backed by the automatic transmission. This particular Mustang runs and drives very well, just as it should. The ease of driving is increased with the optional power steering and front disc brakes. The dual exhaust produces that great American V8 sound. Repainted in the original Ivy Green Metallic, that is in very good condition. The tan convertible top, exterior chrome, and stainless is also in very good condition. A couple of other attractive exterior items are the factory GT rally wheels, GT fog lights, and the GT rear valance with exhaust trumpets. The factory color palomino deluxe interior is in excellent condition. The seats have the desired “Pony” inserts. This Mustang is nicely optioned with buckets front seats, center console, power steering, AM/FM with cassette stereo, dual exterior mirrors, and power top. The Mustang is one of those iconic american cars, and this particular Mustang is an excellent example. You will see in the pictures the extent of detail that went into the restoration. For example the correct FOMOCO hoses, hose clamps, correct color bolts and hood hinges. This Ford is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
